ABOUT CTT
Chandigarh Think Tank (CTT) is an independent research and policy institute focused on the business, governance and institutional landscape of Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh. Our work is grounded in field experience, forensic investigation and evidence-based analysis—not ideology or political advocacy.
We were founded on a simple conviction: one of India's fastest-growing economic regions deserves rigorous, independent analysis. Home to a globally connected NRI diaspora, major banking and industrial institutions, and three strategically important states, the Tricity region increasingly influences national policy, investment and governance. Yet it remains underserved by research that is both regionally informed and practically relevant.
CTT exists to bridge that gap. We publish original research, investigative analysis and policy commentary on the issues that shape economic growth, corporate governance, financial crime, public institutions and regulatory decision-making. Our objective is simple: to produce credible, actionable insights that help business leaders, professionals, policymakers and citizens better understand the forces shaping North India's future.

The Team
CTT is founded by professionals with direct investigative experience at two of India's premier fraud investigation agencies — CBI and SFIO.

What
Makes
CTT
Different
Independent by Design
CTT is independent of political affiliations, corporate sponsorships and government mandates. Our research is guided solely by evidence, intellectual integrity and the interests of our readers.
Research Grounded in Real-World Experience
Our perspective combines policy research with firsthand investigative and forensic experience in financial crime, governance and regulatory systems—bringing practical insight alongside analytical rigor.
Regionally Rooted, Nationally Relevant
While we examine issues of national significance, our work places particular emphasis on the Chandigarh Tricity region, analysing how policies influence businesses, institutions, markets and communities on the ground.
Analysis for Decision-Makers
We produce research for practitioners—not just academics. Our work is designed to inform business leaders, policymakers, financial institutions, legal professionals, chartered accountants, researchers, investors and citizens seeking evidence-based, actionable insights.
